Conductor of Meetings
Participant in meetings
Hierarchical
Organizations
Those who conduct meetings in hierarchical organizations.  In most meetings you attend you are responsible for making final decisions. Examples: principals who meeting with faculty on administrative matters.  Heads who meeting with the admin team. Those who are generally participants in meetings in hierarchical organizations.  This category includes all of you who see yourselves primarily as staff or employees.  In meetings you may be able to suggest courses of action but don't have the power to make final decisions.
Horizontal
Organizations
Those who conduct meetings in horizontal organizations.  You are official members of your group but are responsible for running meetings.  Examples:  Teachers serving on committees of teachers; grade level or deparment meetings. Those who are members of horizontal organizations, responsible for participating in decision-making but not for running meetings. Examples:  teachers on committees of teachers; grade level or department meetings.
