Loading containers in Tokyo.  The ship was in Tokyo only about 14 hours.  These cranes can load about one per minute.   This shot was taken from my bedroom window about dusk.  The blur in the bottom right is a container moving onto the ship.

Always painting! Two crew members are painting the one hatch that happens not to be covered with containers on this voyage.  All day, every day, somebody is repainting something, in the ongoing battle with sea spray.
